There are so many ways we can be sexy and confident. I am not faithful to any of the clothes that the world says I have to wear to be more feminine. Strength and femininity come from me, not my clothes.

Myth About Being Vegan #2
MYTH: Vegans have countless rules about what can be eaten.
To vegans, it appears that meat-eaters are the ones with lots of rules. In the United States, people eat cows but not horses, and chickens but not cats. But among Hindus in India, cows are verboten, and in the Philippines and Korea, Lassie is on the menu. Some religions forbid eating pigs, while others don’t. In the face of these varying, often contradictory norms, vegans have only one rule: We don’t intentionally eat, use or wear anything from an animal — whether meat, leather, eggs, milk, wool, silk or honey.

Change
Change is hard.

But not changing is even harder.

What people don’t seem to understand about veganism
I wish I could just get this on a business card.
Once you’ve been vegan for a while you don’t look at other foods and say “Oh man, I wish I could eat that.” That’s just simply not the case.
When I look at foods that aren’t vegan now, they literally don’t even register in my mind as edible. When I look through a menu at a restaurant I don’t give anything else a second glance. So please stop acting like I’m on some punishment, because I’m not.
I love animals, I love the environment, and I love being healthy.
